I ordered the CODEX Typography Journal some weeks ago, without really knowing what it will be about, but trusting that the authors and designers will live up to their tagline: "for people seriously in love with type". Actually, I was so excited, that it did not really matter that the journal costs 25 Euros (with shipping), that I did not even know when it was coming out!
But today it arrived and I am really excited. It looks great. Clean typography, clean design. You can see it is made and designed with love. So thank you, people at Codex. I am happy! If you still did not get yours, do so please. There are only a limited amount of copies. In addition, I think you get a free "Fonts in Focus" with this first issue.
