A really wonderful magazine, 8 Faces is made with love. I ordered mine already, and it will be delivered in two weeks, as it is still being printed. I also got the digital versions of the last two. I can only recommend it. And no, I am not being paid to say this.
With a cover by Mc Bess, printed on brown card with white ink and foil-blocking, issue #3 features interviews with Ellen Lupton, Frank Chimero, Steve Matteson, Mark Caneso, Vincent Connare, Yves Peters, Jason Smith, and Phil Garnham of Fontsmith.
Issue #3 also features an introduction by Peter Bilak, a review of Codex, and an essay on Type Rendering & Web Fonts by Typekit’s Tim Brown. On top of that, every copy ships with House Industries’ Photo Lettering catalogue and a chance to win champagne from Underware.
